Gobble Gobble & Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!!

We hope where ever this weekend finds you it is a kick off to what will be a fantastic holiday season for everybody. Earlier this year we had the honor and privilege of performing at Mountain Jam Festival in upstate New York on beautiful Hunter Mountain. It is a world class event that we hope to frequent in the future as artists and/or fans. The fine folks at WDST & Mountain Jam partnered with FestivaLink.net and multi-tracked our first of 2 performances that opened up the main stage that day. Now fully mixed by Leif Moravy and mastered by Dominick Maita, we are proud to offer you the newest installment of our podcast series as a totally free download. Feel free to share with anyone you think might like it and please enjoy it yourself!

New website launched! The Domino Effect EP coming soon…

Welcome to the new and improved VanGhost.com the official web home for all things VG. We have been patiently waiting to re-launch this site as we have been busy growing with the changing seasons… writing incessantly, developing our live show, recording an album in Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL (with Grammy Award winning Justin Niebank), further building our network/team, and basically planning our world domination (well most of those things anyways).

We’ve had a killer summer of concerts so far playing festivals from Summer Camp (IL) to Mountain Jam (NY) with stops at Hoxeyville Music Fest (MI) and the innagual North Coast Music Festival (Summers Last Stand) in our home town of Chicago, IL over labor day weekend in the coming weeks. Club plays in New York City, NY, Burlington, VT, Chicago & Dekalb, IL (with Robert Randolph and the Family Band) have kept us on our toes and ready for a strong end to 2010.

Please snoop around and let your voice be heard by connecting with us via our social networks on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and our VG mailing list for exclusive give-aways including FREE concert tickets & music downloads, among other special contests.

P.S. The Domino Effect (6-pack EP) is coming soon! Van Ghost loves YOU.

Future Rock Rocks Off Concert Cruise 8/27!

Thanks to the good folks at Rocks Off, Future Rock will once again take The Temptress on a voyage through NYC. If you’ve been on the boat with Future Rock before, then you know to expect the unexpected. This time, we’ve lured our good friend DJ Thibault to take part in the mayhem. The BIG BOAT departs from W. 41st St. on the West side, and will push it’s way north on the Hudson River, just far enough to get a great view of the George Washington Bridge. She then turns around to barrel down the Hudson, usually heading straight for the Statue of Liberty. She will nose up to offer incredible views of Lady Liberty before cruising the harbor. The FR cruise takes place Friday, August 27. Boarding time is 7:00pm! Don’t sleep on this one. Click here to get tickets!
